Your local contact point for European opportunities
At Eurodesk Gürsu we help young people access study, volunteering, traineeship and youth opportunities across Europe — and turn their dreams into reality.
What is Eurodesk Gürsu?
Eurodesk is the European youth information network that has been informing young people about learning, volunteering and youth opportunities in Europe since 1990, and is active in 36 countries today. Hosted by Gürsu Municipality, Eurodesk Gürsu has offered free information and guidance to young people in Bursa since 2019.
Programmes
There is more than one way to Europe. Choose by your age, your goal and the time you can give.
Erasmus+ KA152
Meet young people from other countries and learn together around a shared theme through workshops, games and culture nights. Accommodation and food are covered and travel is supported.
European Solidarity Corps
Volunteer full-time with an organisation in Europe. Accommodation, food, pocket money, insurance and language support are provided by the programme, with a contribution to travel.
Erasmus+
If you are a university student, study for a term or do a traineeship in Europe; recent graduates can do a traineeship within a year of graduating. You apply through your university's Erasmus office and receive a grant.
DiscoverEU
If you are 18, get the chance to win a free travel pass and explore Europe on your own route, mostly by rail, with 7 travel days within one month.

FAQ
We gathered the most common questions. If you can't find yours, write to us.
View AllNo. Information, guidance and application support are all free of charge; Eurodesk contact points may not charge for the information they give. Eurodesk is not a funding body: it points you to the right programme and the right place to apply.
Most opportunities target young people aged 13-30: youth exchanges are for ages 13-30, European Solidarity Corps volunteering for 18-30 and DiscoverEU for 18-year-olds. Each opportunity lists its own conditions on its page; if you are unsure, ask us.
For most youth exchanges, basic English that lets you express yourself is enough. Volunteering projects include online language support for the language of your host country; a language certificate is usually not required.
In Erasmus+ youth exchanges and European Solidarity Corps volunteering, accommodation and food are covered by the programme, and your travel is supported up to an amount set by distance. Volunteers also receive pocket money and insurance. DiscoverEU covers the travel pass only; accommodation and food are at your own expense.
