Your personal data is processed by Gürsu Municipality as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").
Personal data we process
- Application form: full name, date of birth, email, phone, district/city, school/occupation, language level, experience and motivation
- Contact form: full name, email, phone (optional) and your message
- Newsletter: email address
Purposes
We process your data to evaluate your application, contact you, guide you to suitable European opportunities, answer your questions and, if you ask for it, send you our newsletter.
Legal basis
Your data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK, based on your explicit consent and on processing being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract.
Transfers
Your data may be shared with host and partner organisations and competent public authorities to the extent required by the programme you apply for. It is not transferred to other third parties.
Retention
Application and contact records are kept for as long as the purpose requires, and are then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may learn whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, and object to processing. You can send requests through the channels on our contact page.
